An avid golfer, Billie had been a member of the Dayton Golf & Country Club and enjoyed playing golf with her family. She silently gave much to many of those in need. She loved attending the Ladies’ Bible class. Up until the time she was no longer able to attend, she had been a member of the Dayton Church of Christ.

Billie took pride in knowing the funeral home was still owned and operated by her family. Early in their marriage, Felix began working with Coulter Funeral Home which eventually led to Billie and Felix owning and operating Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home here in their hometown of Dayton. In 1946 she married Felix Garrison whose family was farming pioneer settlers of the Yellow Creek Community. Billie took pride in her family heritage. Coulter Funeral Home which was established in 1897 in Dayton, Tennessee. Her grandfather, Robert Jerome Coulter was the founder of R. Identical twin sister to Betty, they were born on Octoin Graysville, Tennessee. Billie Coulter Garrison, 93, passed away August 09, 2019.īillie was the daughter of Robert Jones Coulter and Allie Brown Coulter.
